Why did we make this product?
Pork belly is a popular choice for hot pot, but some may prefer a leaner cut without sacrificing tenderness. Here is our pork butt!! Traditionally, butchers call the upper pork shoulder as butt, this cut is actually from the shoulder, not the butt. It boasts a soft and tender texture, with just the right amount of fat. The slices are round and square, and have a minimal porky aroma. It's perfect for hot pot, as it won't make the broth too oily, and each piece has plenty of meat. This versatile cut is also great for stir fry dishes like Pork Shogayaki, as it's thin and even, they are easy to cook and control. It can even be used for Korean BBQ, as the generous size of the meat makes for delicious results.
